Leon was born at the Accoyo Ranch, home of Don Julio Barreda. His ancestors have been rigorously selected since 1946. Peruvian Leon is a striking dark fawn color of perfect uniformity. His fleece measures 19.9 micron at three years of age. His head is perfectly balanced and his proud presence is breathtaking. We look for Leon to produce many generations of beautifully colored alpacas with high quality Peruvian fleece characteristics.
